What is perinatal mental health and what are perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD)?

Perinatal refers to pregnancy and the year after giving birth. As much as 1 in 5 moms struggle with a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD). Symptoms differ for everyone, and may include: feelings of anger, fear and/or guilt, lack of interest in the baby, appetite and sleep disturbance, difficulty concentrating/ making decisions, and possible thoughts of harming the baby or oneself.

    Do you work with dads?

    We do! According to Postpartum Support International, 1 in 10 dads suffer from postpartum depression. So whether you are caring for a struggling partner or you feel you can use the support, we do offer services to dads as well.

      Do you offer groups?

      Yes! We offer groups seasonally. If you are interested in joining a group, let our intake coordinator know when you fill out our new client form!

        Pricing and Paying for Services

        We are a private pay counseling practice so fees are paid in full at the time of service. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit card (Visa & MasterCard).

        As a healthcare provider, we accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

        Depending on the clinician, our fee schedule is as follows:

        • Intake Assessment – $175 – $220
        • Counseling Appointment – $155 – $180
