A Message From Kaitlyn

Parents often find themselves struggling to help their children cope with the aftermath of trauma and stress or any difficult experiences. They do whatever they can to see their children thrive in every way, yet many children struggle to overcome feelings of anxiety, depression, or anger.

It’s important to remember, it’s not about what’s wrong with your child. It’s about what’s happened to your child and how they may not have integrated those experiences.

I’m Kaitlyn Johnson, a therapist at Bloom Child Therapists. I believe that with the proper therapeutic support to help your child, you will see lasting change.

As a child therapist, I’ve helped hundreds of children and families work through stress and trauma related experiences that include life transitions, changes in family dynamics, grief, loss, divorce, bullying, abuse, and neglect. I will guide and support you, the parent, through this process as well.

Here’s how you can get started with counseling:

First, click on the schedule appointment button.

Then, fill out the new client appointment form.

Lastly, someone on our team will reach out to you to schedule your first appointment and answer any questions you may have.

So, if you would like to stop seeing your child struggle through the many distressing symptoms of surviving childhood stressors or traumas and instead see them thrive both at home and in the classroom, then schedule an appointment today.
